Greetings and welcome.
My name is Pamela Yates, I'm a working artist who has maintained a holistic coaching practice since 2004. In my coaching practice I provide Creativity and Human Experience Coaching and have worked with individual clients locally and around the world. I work individually with each client via email, phone and video calling (via Skype). The name of my coaching practice, Circle Pathways, evolves from my experience and training in restorative healing practices which can be applied to any area of life in ways that are helpful, insightful, grounding and respectful towards the client's natural wisdom which is the birthright of every human being. If you'd like to chat informally about whether this friendly, gentle and practical support for your creative visions, work and dreams is right for you, please drop me an email. I would be happy to answer any questions and there's absolutely no obligation.. We can chat via email or phone whichever is more comfortable for you.
Our style of working together
I work individually with each client, our sessions are private and confidential. In our work together a client might choose to decide to discover, clarify and name their most important dreams and goals; we might work together to identify and embrace great strengths, personal gifts with respect to personality and experiences, and personal wisdom that can support the client's success. Clients explore past and present struggles and barriers that could be less than helpful to success in the present and future. This work is done with support from a coach who will help clarify dreams, goals and next steps in the areas of life that are most important. In my role as a coach, the client gets support that sometimes can't be provided by family members and friends who often, with the best of intentions, would prefer that their loved one make choices they perceive as safe or secure or appropriate when what the client longs to do is explore her own ordinary or outrageous or impossible dreams. She may wish a change in lifestyle or vocation or career or location which might alarm those around her. Sometimes is just is the right time for a person to explore their life, their choices, new options, inner visions and dreams. I believe it's important to listen to that call. Nothing in nature stands still, everything moves in a circle and is always changing. When we are open to changing and growing we are doing what comes naturally. Listening to your inner wisdom, with judicious reality checking, is a great place to start. As a coach I can listen and provide support, friendly accountability, open questions in an environment of inquiry about your goals, dreams, visions and the unknown. The client makes all decisions about goals in our work together and the speed at which they want to work.

My style of coaching spills out from a holistic cultural worldview that is compassionate, gentle and respectful. That's not to say the work that clients engage in is easy, and in my role I often hold their feet to the fire and help clients remember and reconnect with goals that are important to them. The work can feel peaceful and exhilarating, healing and challenging, funny and frightening, joyful and heartbreaking and often, all of these. Of course! we are complex human beings! And clients already know in their hearts and minds that breaking new ground to start fresh, to re-fresh, re-generate, nurture and grow a creative view of life and whatever work we choose to engage in, can sometimes be exciting and rewarding and difficult and challenging, too. But we each choose: rather a life lived than not to reach for a life well-lived.
My clients have confronted doubts and fears about their creative visions, dreams and goals. But it is work worth doing! Your creative work is to live your own life and it is worth the investment of your time, energy and passion! The structure, foundation and emotional environment of my coaching practice is guided by the wisdom, practical tools and teachings of the ancient restorative Circle Process. These principles and teachings provide powerful tools to bring adventure, support, awareness and soothing to your relationship with your creative self. All of life is about creativity, all of life follow natural law, there is no passive standing still, in the natural world change is constant. In human life change is constant. As a Human Experience Coach I provide biased support, validation and encouragement on the life journey of my clients - and that support is importantly biased because I am totally on my client's team! My coaching style and its gentle quality is also informed by my life experiences and principles gained from walking a spiritual lifeway, twenty-nine years in the world of twelve-step recovery programs and my recovery from direct and indirect experiences of violence.
How we structure our sessions
The format for our work together is simple and it looks like this: we begin with an email and then a 60-minute monthly phone chat (either by phone or video call via Skype or Google Hangouts) with follow-up emails between phone chats. The cost is $95.00 per month. For new clients there is an initial two-month commitment, the cost is $190, this two-month commitment allows time for the client to get started, dig in and see progress in ways that are not possible during one month.
If this coaching work sounds like something you'd like to do then drop me an email at email@example.com and tell me a little bit about yourself and what you'd like to accomplish in our work together. I'll respond via email with some questions to help get us started. You can pay via the secure link below for the first two months (and month-by-month thereafter) or clients can also pay via PalPal, let me know via email if you prefer to pay through PayPal. In any event you're welcome to contact me to chat about our work before you take this step. Drop me an email if you have questions or if you would like to arrange an informational phone chat.
I look forward to hearing from you! Drop me a note and let's get started!

Group activities offered
For most community facilities the workshops are provided free of charge except for cost of supplies which are provided without markup. I love this work and can facilitate gatherings including fun, adventuresome craft and art workshops in the community. These workshops can accommodate small groups of 6-10 or as many as 30 individuals
including young people age 10 and up, youth and adults. Activities can include art and craft projects, storytelling, Talking Circles and presentations. Participants explore creativity using paint, collage, beading, fabrics, jewelry making (earrings, bracelets, charms and necklaces), make a dream catcher, experience relaxation meditation and visualization, or combinations of these activities. Participants and locations include folks from colleges, schools, faith groups, shelters and group residences, addiction and other recovery and wellness centers.
Caring disclaimer, coaching is not therapy
I do not provide nor am I licensed or trained to provide professional therapy or counseling. If you think professional counseling would be helpful to you I encourage you to check out that possibility with a licensed professional. Working with a licensed psychologist, elders and a coach has been very helpful to me on parts of my journey, I know firsthand the power and beauty of these types of opportunities to grow, heal and explore. Working with a licensed therapist or similar professional doesn't mean we
can't also engage in our coaching work together, you can choose to do both, it's most important to do what feels right for you. I advise people to listen to their gut.
