About Richard
Watson
I
am a massage therapist offering "Heart Life Massage" which
encompasses your body, mind and spirit. This practice includes many
types of massage: rehabilitative, deep tissue, hot stone, Swedish,
chair and energy. I specialize in relief of headache, neck, shoulder
and arm pain, stress relief and stress reduction. Emphasis is on
relearning to live your life without these pains, headaches and the
accumulated stress of your life. I am a member of the
American
Massage Therapy Association and trained at Center Point
Massage
& Shiatsue Therapy School & Clinic. I assist my clients
in
understanding where the pain comes from and help them learn to heal
themselves and teach themselves how to do things differently, so they
can achieve and maintain their personal wellness in life, to follow
their heart path. I take pride in my professional commitment and skills
in providing open, fair, respectful, honest, ethical treatment of all
of my clients.

Energetic Massage
Swedish
massage is used for relaxation, relieving fatigue, releasing tension
& stress, body image & health promotion. Swedish
effects the
body through different strokes by stimulating the tissues, releasing
tense muscles & improving blood & lymph circulation.
Hot
stone massage* uses many of the same techniques, but with the placement
of the stones to release tension & stress.

Deep Tissue, Rehabilitative & Trigger Point Massage
This
type of massage combines use of some of the Swedish techniques with
trigger point therapy & cross-fiber friction. These techniques
are
applied to localized areas of hyper irritability in muscles caused by
acute and chronic muscle over-use, repetitive use syndromes, diseases,
body structural imbalances and injuries.
Energetic Massage
This
type of massage is used for relaxation, energy balancing and spiritual
growth. It is gentle and relaxing. It is done by the therapist, either
by laying on of hands directly on the client's body or around the
client's energy field.
